Congratulation on the International Day of Cooperatives
Dear cooperators, dear colleagues!
The Presidency of the Ukrainian Central Union of Consumer Societies (Ukrkoopspilka) and the Ukrainian Central Committee of the Trade Union of Consumer Cooperative Workers sincerely congratulate all employees and veterans of the consumer cooperative system, cooperative members, shareholders, and everyone whose daily work strengthens the proud traditions of the cooperative movement on the International Day of Cooperatives. This year, the global cooperative community celebrates the occasion under the theme “Cooperatives for a Peaceful World.” For Ukrainian cooperators, these words carry a particularly profound meaning. For many years, our country has been resisting brutal aggression, while cooperative organizations have continued to operate, meeting the needs of citizens and supporting local communities, military personnel, internally displaced persons, and everyone requiring assistance during this extraordinarily difficult time. Despite the challenging conditions of martial law, Ukraine’s consumer cooperative movement has once again demonstrated its resilience, social responsibility, and unwavering commitment to cooperative values. Thanks to the professionalism, unity, and dedication of cooperators, retail enterprises, markets, catering establishments, educational institutions, and other enterprises within the cooperative system continue to operate and serve their communities. Cooperation has always been—and remains—a symbol of mutual assistance, democracy, fairness, and solidarity. Today, these very principles are helping Ukrainian society endure, recover, and look confidently toward the future. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all cooperators for their dedication to their chosen profession, their professionalism, perseverance, and significant contribution to the development of the economy, the support of local communities, and the strengthening of our nation’s social cohesion. We wish you good health, prosperity, boundless energy, new professional achievements, stability, and confidence in the future. May harmony, well-being, and hope for tomorrow reign in every cooperative family, and may peace, security, and prosperity return to Ukraine as soon as possible.
