Dear cooperators! The Presidency of Ukrkoopspilka and the Central Committee of the Trade Union of Consumer Cooperatives of Ukraine sincerely congratulate you on the main holidays of our statehood – the National Flag Day and the Independence Day of Ukraine! We have been building our country for 34 years. And for the eleventh year in a row, we have been forced to defend our independence, our freedom, our European choice with arms in hand. Ukraine is a unique country that has demonstrated to the world its resilience, its heroism, and its overwhelming desire to live in a democratic, civilized, European country. We will definitely build such a country – strong and prosperous – after peace comes to our land. Sustainable and fair. In the meantime, everyone is doing their part to bring the victory closer. For Ukrainian flags to be raised in all cities, towns, and villages that are still occupied by the enemy. For our country to become prosperous, a place where we want to live, work, and raise our children! The consumer cooperative system and its employees demonstrate vivid examples of selflessness, mutual assistance, and patriotism in this difficult time for the country. We help the army, internally displaced people, communities, and our employees and their families are defending our independence with arms in hand. We have been and are there where it is difficult. It was our cooperators who baked bread even under fire and under that very fire delivered it to people. Cooperative stores operate in the frontline regions, providing those who live there with everything they need. The cooperatives hosted internally displaced people from the dangerous regions, providing housing, food, comfort and support. We bow to you for your resilience, work, and humanity. On these holidays, we thank each of you – members of consumer societies, employees, veterans of consumer cooperatives – for your contribution to the common cause, for your faith, for Ukraine!
