UKRAINE – TURKEY: COOPERATORS STRENGTHEN THE COOPERATION

The joint briefing of representatives of the Ukrainian cooperative community and delegation of cooperators from Turkey was held in the city of Kyiv on June 16 on the premises of COOP Ukraine. The briefing was held as part of a visit of the colleagues from that country led by S.S.MENTORKOOP to Ukraine. The Turkish party was represented by cooperatives that work in research and development sector, trade, tourism, food production, cosmetics, textile, robotics and computer automation.

During the meeting the Chairman of the Board of Ukrkoopspilka I. Gorokhovskyi made the Turkish colleagues aware of the Ukrainian consumer cooperation system: its history and present. I. Gorokhovskyi noted that nowadays the interstate Ukrainian-Turkish relations are partners and are actively developing. The Chairman of the Board of Ukrkoopspilka expressed his hope for enhancing cooperation in cooperative sector between Ukraine and Turkey.

The parties confirmed their mutual interest in further deepening of bilateral relations and agreed on the establishment of working contacts.
